CHAX Plush - Gloomy Bear - 25th Anniversary Ver. [PRE-ORDER]

A milestone release for a character that never played it safe

Twenty-five years in, Gloomy Bear remains one of the most distinctive characters in Japanese pop culture — and this 35cm anniversary plush by Taito Chax marks the occasion with a collector-grade release that won’t be repeated. Officially licensed, Japan-imported, and produced in a single limited run with no planned restock.

What you need to know before ordering

• Official 25th Anniversary edition — licensed release from Taito Chax, not a generic reproduction.
• 35cm (approx. 14") tall — substantial display size, built for shelves and collections, not casual use.
• Japan import — sourced directly from the Japanese market, where this prize figure was originally released.
• Collector’s item, not a toy — intended for display purposes. Not suitable for children under 15.
• No restock once sold out — this is a single production run. Pre-order stock is the only guaranteed availability window.

Who this is for

Built for Gloomy Bear collectors, Japanese character merchandise enthusiasts, and anyone who tracks limited anime plush releases before they disappear from the market. This anniversary plush sits alongside other Taito Chax prize figures as a shelf piece with clear provenance — not something you’ll find restocked at a later date.

Pre-order windows on limited Japan imports close without warning. Once the allocation is filled, that’s it.

Q: Is this the same as the standard Gloomy Bear plush or is it a special version?
R: This is a dedicated 25th Anniversary edition by Taito Chax — distinct from the regular lineup in both design and production scope. It’s a limited collector’s release tied specifically to the anniversary milestone, not a reissue of an existing model.

Q: What does “prize item” mean — does it affect the quality?
R: “Prize item” refers to its original Japanese distribution format (arcade prize machines), which is standard for Taito Chax releases. The build quality is consistent with official licensed merchandise — it’s a collector’s designation, not a quality downgrade.

Q: When will it ship if it’s a pre-order?
R: As a Japan import on pre-order, the dispatch timeline depends on production and shipping from Japan. You’ll receive an email confirmation with the estimated shipping date once the batch is ready to fulfill.
